How it works
Envysion Video is a software application that allows people to access geographically dispersed video recorders via the Internet. Video is captured and recorded onto onsite Envysion Video recorders; then it is accessed by users, who can view live or recorded video from anywhere in the world using a simple, VCR-like interface.

Here’s how the system works in more detail:
-
Video is captured by cameras at your location and recorded onto an on-site Envysion Video recorder (EnVR™). If you have multiple locations, each location will have surveillance cameras and an on-site EnVR.
-
You access and log on to the password-protected Envysion website from any broadband-connected PC, anywhere in the world.
-
Using an intuitive, VCR-like interface, you select the locations and cameras that you want to view. You can view live and/or recorded video. You can search the recorded video by entering time/date information, by searching for motion in a specific area of the screen, or (if you have POS integration) by selecting a specific transaction that you want to see. Your commands are sent to the Envysion Data Center.
-
The Envysion Data Center links you to the appropriate EnVRs containing the desired data and video.
-
The EnVRs stream the live and/or recorded video directly to your computer, enabling you to instantly view, search and share it. You can have an unlimited number of cameras and recorders connected in a single system and you can view live and recorded video from up to nine of them at one time.
