Josh is Senior Director and Head of Global Security & Resilience at Chipotle Mexican Grill,
overseeing people security and life safety in restaurants and support centers, event, travel,
and executive security, fraud investigations, and business continuity. Chipotle employs
around 140,000 people and operates over 3,800 restaurants in North America and Europe,
with additional licensed restaurants in the Middle East and soon in Mexico.
Josh’s career experience spans the public service, retail, and restaurant industries. Prior to
Chipotle, he served as Associate Vice President and head of global asset protection at Bath
& Body Works, where he oversaw all aspects of protecting people, product, and property.
Prior to his 12 ½ years at Bath & Body Works, he served in various asset protection and
field leadership roles at Kate Spade, Starbucks, and Walmart. His public service included
time with the Indiana Air National Guard, United States Air Force, and two emergency
medical service agencies.
Josh is a Certified Tactical Paramedic (TP-C) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and a
Master of Legal & Forensic Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.
